I think this is related to the alpha version of this map, you see, c3a1 (aka Forget About Freeman! first chapter) was kind of different from the final build, this elevator could have probably meant to be used as a changelevel to one of the alpha maps, though i should verify it, since i don't have the alpha anymore tbh. (The Player appearing in the ceiling stuck is due to the lack of the landmark the changelevel trigger needs to make the player spawn in the proper coordinates.)

Well, how it traverses across the station off camera when you can’t see it or are not encountering it yet is pretty straightforward: it uses all of the maintenance shafts and HVAC vents that are inaccessible to you to travel between areas such as the SysTec Spire and the Solomon Habitation Tower. Like in the movie Aliens and much of the rest of the series, the Xenomorphs love using service tunnels and maintenance ducts to transfer from one area to the next in a ship, space station, or a planet. Nostalgia. 😱😱👽👽☠️☠️

Yeah I've seen this kind of AI in The Forest game too. The game knows where you are, and it will send cannibals at your location, along with regular scheduled patrols. However, when they come, they will act as if they don't know your exact position, they will just roam around waiting for you to provoke them. If you don't, they will leave eventually without doing much (although Armsy will knock down some trees and buildings just because he is always cranky).

the security room in 7:00 can be opened without hacks, ive done it a couple of times in my runs, its really hard, the only thing you have to do is open the other security room (where you press a button to unlock a decontamination area), just a little bit by holding click and then closing it, and then running to the security door thats shown in this video, then click it to try to open it (it wont open) and then when the animation is done, go hide somewhere, if you're lucky, the variant that is supposed to chase you will break that door and when he leaves you can take the battery, hope it helps !

8:30 interesting to note - you can walk THROUGH the monster while it's spawning like this for a couple seconds. Then it will get you. Also, if you walk right behind its butt it won't catch you. I just thought that was funny.

Playing Alien: Isolation was an unforgettable experience. The game excels in creating a genuinely terrifying atmosphere, largely thanks to the perfect AI of the alien. The alien feels unpredictably intelligent, adapting to your actions in a way that keeps you constantly on edge. The tension is palpable as you navigate through the eerie, claustrophobic corridors of the Sevastopol space station, never knowing when or where the alien might strike next.

i gotta say, the Xenomorph in this game is as terrifying and intelligent as it is pleasing to watch. Its so interesting to observe its agility and behaviour! im glad it is not a disgusting abhorrent monster, but instead has the brutal and sleek beauty of a predatory creature, perfectly designed to hunt. It really makes it more fair game to be hunted and killed by a creature like this.
